How a handpan is made?
The materials for making handpans are usually stainless steel and DC steel.
Step 1: smash the top ding sound, use the hydraulic air hammer to smash the top of the shell out of the shape of the sound area;
Step 2: draw sounds area, according to the different tone, use the corresponding magnet to draw division of sounds area;
Step 3: press sounds area, the painted shell is correspondingly sound pressure;
Step 4: shaping, using an electric drill or other tools to shape the pressed shell;
Step 5: Tuning, usually by hand hammering with a hammer;
Step 6: bake it in the oven. The purpose of this step is to increase the toughness;
Step 7: connect the 2 shells and use glue to connect the upper and lower shells together;
